What is Gender Typing? Understanding the Socially Constructed Boxes We Live In

Imagine a world where pink is for everyone, and building blocks aren't just for boys. That's a world without gender typing. Gender typing is the process of associating certain activities, behaviors, objects, and roles with one gender or the other. It's how we learn to view the world through a lens of "masculine" and "feminine," often leading to rigid expectations and limitations.
